Polyethylene Bitumen Butyl Tape is a three-layered tape coating system used for corrosion protection of underground or overhead pipelines and waterproofing. It has excellent adhesion, flexibility, and resistance to UV and cathodic disbonding. It can be easily applied with no special equipment and is compatible with common pipe coatings. The tape is cold applied and consists of a special blend of stabilized polyolefines, butyl rubber bituminous compound, and adhesion promoting resins.
